The prestigious Presidential Award at Bowling Green State University is given to students who hold a 4.0 GPA throughout their entire undergraduate career at the university.

I am a member of the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

I am a recipient of a National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Central Great Lakes Student Scholarship. 

These scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a career in the television industry. Application were screened by the scholarship committee and I completed a panel interview. I was honored on stage during the 55th Annual NATAS Central Great Lakes Chapter Regional Emmy Awards.

I received 1st place in the Best Multimedia Package category for my work on a story that spans 4 months of creation and dedication.

Winning first place for Best Multimedia Package for my work on "Non-traditional artist and advocate" is truly a humbling experience. It's an honor to have my work recognized by the Ohio News Media Association and those committed to telling the stories that matter to our communities. 

This story is one I am especially grateful to be able to tell and I think also an important one for people to read. The subject matter is one that is often underrepresented in the news, so it's important to shed light on important issues, specifically this one. To have my work—especially this story in particular—acknowledged is something I'm incredibly grateful for.

The Excellence In Journalism Award recognizes outstanding students in the Bowling Green State University Journalism program who have demonstrated high academic achievement. 

The scholarship is provided to students majoring in broadcasting with high academic achievement.
