I am a recipient of a National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Central Great Lakes Student Scholarship. 

These scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a career in the television industry. Application were screened by the scholarship committee and I completed a panel interview. I was honored on stage during the 55th Annual NATAS Central Great Lakes Chapter Regional Emmy Awards.

I am honored to receive a Student Production Award in the Feature News Report category for my story "Local family talks importance of Down Syndrome." 

This story is one I produced for Down Syndrome Awareness Day in March 2025, which discussed the importance of inclusion for those with disabilities and the effects it has when people exclude them. 

I received 1st place in the Best Multimedia Package category for my work on a story that spans 4 months of creation and dedication.

Winning first place for Best Multimedia Package for my work on "Non-traditional artist and advocate" is truly a humbling experience. It's an honor to have my work recognized by the Ohio News Media Association and those committed to telling the stories that matter to our communities. 

This story is one I am especially grateful to be able to tell and I think also an important one for people to read. The subject matter is one that is often underrepresented in the news, so it's important to shed light on important issues, specifically this one. To have my work—especially this story in particular—acknowledged is something I'm incredibly grateful for.

I received 2nd place in the In-Depth Reporting category for my story "Ticketed while parking at BGSU: 2025 shatters citation records."

This story involved months of planning and investigative research to analyze over 100,000 public record data entries on campus parking data.

The Excellence In Journalism Award recognizes outstanding students in the Bowling Green State University Journalism program who have demonstrated high academic achievement. 

The prestigious Presidential Award at Bowling Green State University is given to students who hold a 4.0 GPA throughout their entire undergraduate career at the university.

I am a member of the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

I have been a member of the Bowling Green State University Dean's List each semester.
